About
Patrick Kilbourn
Taken in Nquthu, a rural village in KwaZulu-Natal, while capturing Umemulo — a Zulu coming-of-age ceremony.
I fell in love with photography at ten, when my mom gave me a disposable film camera to document my first school camp. What started as a childhood curiosity became a career that has taken me to extraordinary places, introduced me to remarkable people, and given me the chance to work with brands I admire.
I find real joy in capturing authentic, beautiful moments whether on a perfectly crafted studio set or in a rural village in KwaZulu-Natal. I'd love to share that passion with you.
